Grand Hotel River Park***** is perfectly located right on the bank of the Danube river with a promenade in front of the entrance door. We were fascinated by the number of excellent services they provide, including 24-hour In-Room Dining service, private limousines, fitness and roof-top wellness centre with incredible views over the river. No wonder this hotel accommodated celebrities like Bob Dylan or Sting. Amazing hotel in every sense!

We love the hotel’s industrial design and the transformation of a villa to a small hotel. You feel like home during the stay here. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Easy access to the city centre by regular public transportation but tourist sites are all within the walking distance if you prefer walking. The restaurant belongs to the best places where you can eat excellent food in Bratislava. Lovely indoor pool for relaxation, quiet location just 10 minutes of walking from the Bratislava Castle. A true 5-star hotel.

After arriving in the hotel, we were welcomed by a friendly and helpful staff who offered us a free welcome drink. We loved those little extra touches such as fresh mineral water in the room every day, fruit bowl in the lobby and delicious coffee you keep ordering just because it’s so great. The best breakfast buffet we have ever experienced (with plenty of choices) together with charming and spaceful bedrooms convinced us to keep recommending this hotel to our guests. And the location is just perfect! Right between Bratislava’s main bus station and the Old Town, both in the distance of 5 minutes of walking.

10. Hotel Avance

If you want to explore Bratislava, this is the right place to stay. The hotel is located very close to the Danube river as well as to The Old Town. A very modern hotel with large rooms, all equipped with underfloor heating, super large beds and cheap minibar. We literally loved the restaurant with varied cuisine and breakfast with plenty of choices. They also have a small garage with reasonable prices for parking (only 6.60€/day), which you can book in advance. A great stay at a reasonable price. Absolutely nothing to complain!
